Check Out Our Progress:

Painting

This is one of the few projects that I have ever done where there was very little painting involved. The cabinets and cabinet trim were prefinished (already stained and sealed). The color in our kitchen comes from our cabinets, countertops, floors, and backsplash. Due to the fact that our kitchen had so many cabinets, Mrs. C elected to paint her walls and ceilings, white. Our painter used a Sherwin-Williams 400 series flat wall paint.

For our trim, which included the windows, window and door casings, and baseboards, we used a Sherwin-Williams Pro Series semi-gloss oil base paint.

Note:
Since our paint consisted of white, it really did an injustice to take photographs of the walls and ceilings without the contrast of the rest of the kitchen so this week is of a pure informational basis. In other words, we didn't want to bore you with pictures of white walls and ceilings.

Next Week:
Plumbing and Electrical Fixtures.
